President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the Russian shelling of residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia, which the Russian occupiers inflicted on Sunday, September 29.
The Ukrainian president wrote about this in Telegram.
According to the Ukrainian president, as a result of Russian airstrikes, residential buildings were damaged, in one of them the entrance was destroyed. There is also damage to city infrastructure and railways.
He added that 13 people were injured, two of them were rescued from the rubble.
“I thank all the services that responded promptly and provided the necessary assistance to people. Debris analysis is still ongoing,” Zelenskyi noted.
According to the Ukrainian president, the Russian army used 900 aerial bombs, more than 300 rockets and more than 40 rockets to attack the territory of Ukraine in a week.
On September 29, the Russians attacked a residential building in Zaporizhzhia with ten anti-tank missiles. The head of Zaporizhzhya OVA Fedorov reported on eleven victims. One high-rise building and at least 15 private houses were destroyed. Two of the injured were hospitalized.
Also, as a result of the Russian attack, the building of the railway station and the windows of one of the trains were damaged.
