“Ukrposhta has already started actively sending out summonses.” They say that the procedure is no different from sending court documents.

This was reported by the head of “Ukrposhta” Ihor Smilyanskyi in a comment to Suspilno. He noted that the summons comes as an ordinary registered letter, which the recipient receives under his signature.

“If it is noted that the person is not there (that is, he did not receive the letter in person – ed.), a message remains, and if they do not come for the letter, then, as with court documents – we leave it in the system and return the letter (subpoena – ed. ) to the sender (Ministry of Defense — ed.),” the official explained.

According to Smilyanskyi, this procedure is clearly regulated and specified in the legislation. The summons letters themselves look like an ordinary envelope.

As a reminder, the government has allocated over UAH 70 million for the centralized printing and distribution of 900,000 summonses by the end of 2024.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the new appearance of paper summonses and those that will be issued through the “Oberig” service.

On September 17, the first centralized exchange of subpoenas in electronic format took place: all subpoenas signed by the electronic signatures of the heads of territorial procurement and social support centers were automatically sent to the servers of Ukrposhta.
