In particular, the Crimean Wind Telegram channel wrote that around three in the morning local time, two explosions were heard in the Bakhchysaray and Simferopol districts.
Later, readers of the channel reported on explosions and shootings in the village of Krasnogvardiyske, and around 03:20 – in Komsomolsk and Simferopol itself.

The Russian authorities did not comment on the attack, nor did they report anything about the consequences.
For its part, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced on the morning of December 9 that Russian air defense had allegedly shot down 22 drones over Crimea, but did not provide evidence for its assertion. They also did not report how many failed to shoot down.
The Ukrainian military has not yet commented on the attack.
Since 2022, the territory of the peninsula has been attacked by drones and missiles almost every day, in most cases the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation or the Russian authorities do not confirm hits on military objects, even if this information can be verified.
