The Defense Committee of the Council supported the bill, which provides for the opportunity for men in the search of the shopping center to receive temporary reservation from mobilization.
This is stated in conclusion Committee and press service Cabinet.
Bill No. 13335 provides for the possibility of booking from mobilization for up to 45 days for employees of critical enterprises if:
- they do not have or incorrectly executed military accounting documents;
- They are not on military accounting;
- did not specify personal data in accordance with the Law 3633-IX;
- They are wanted (it is about the search of the shopping center, not the criminal search.
Such reservation can be provided once in the calendar year, from the date of the employment contract.
It is also proposed to allow the dismissal of employees who have not led to the requirements of the legislation within the probationary period.
The Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence recommended that the draft law in the first reading, refine it, and submit it in the second reading.
The Ministry of Defense did not support such a bill. The department explained their position by the fact that:
- protection of the country – the duty of citizens enshrined in the Constitution;
- Reservations are possible only for those who are on military account and have relevant documents;
- The bill proposes to give reservations even to those who are wanted or not registered – it is “contrary to applicable laws”.
We will remind, yesterday, July 17, the Ministry of Defense announced that in the application “Reserve+” will be able to design new types of delay from mobilization. In particular, deferrals for scientific, pedagogical and pedagogical staff of higher and training education will be added to the application.
As you know, the Verkhovna Rada supported continuation martial law and mobilization for 90 days. The corresponding decision was made by 304 people’s deputies. Martial law and mobilization will operate at least on November 5, 2025.
