The Ukrainian U-21 national team entered the second basket for the Euro-2025 U-21 draw

The youth national team of Ukraine U-21 entered the second basket for the draw of the final tournament Euro-2025 U-21.

The Ukrainian team will know three opponents in the group round during the draw in Bratislava.

The drawing procedure for the final part of the U-21 European Championship 2025 will be held in the capital of Slovakia on December 3 at 8:00 p.m. Kyiv time.

A total of 16 teams will participate in the final tournament of the European Championship. The national teams are divided into 4 baskets according to the UEFA rating for the U-21 national teams.

Unai Melgosa’s wards got into the second basket together with the teams of Germany, France, and Italy – these teams will not be rivals of the blue-yellow team in the group. The first basket included: Spain, England, Portugal, the Netherlands.

UEFA will distribute 16 national teams into 4 groups of 4 teams each by drawing lots. After the group stage, the two strongest teams from each quartet will advance to the quarterfinals, and then the winner will be determined in the playoffs.

The Euro-2025 U-21 final tournament will be held from June 11 to June 28, 2025 in 8 cities in Slovakia (Bratislava, Trnava, Dunajska Streda, Košice, Žilina, Trenčín, Nitra, Prešov).
