The head of Britain’s intelligence service, known as MI6, said that any softening of support for Ukraine would strengthen the position of Vladimir Putin and his allies.
In a message that Reuters believed was aimed at the administration of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and some European allies who have questioned Ukraine’s continued support for the war, Moore said Europe and its transatlantic partners must stand firm in the face of, he said, growing aggression.
