Literally the Foreign Ministry: “It has been ongoing for more than three years of full -scale aggression of Russia against Ukraine, constant massive missile shelling of Ukrainian cities and communities, civil and transport infrastructure, constant Russian terror, sabotage and provocations pose real threats to life and safety of people.”

Details: In the event of a visit, despite the reservation of the Ukrainian authorities, pilgrims should be considered that in Ukraine there is a legal regime of martial law, which provides for a curfew, enhanced patrolling, prohibition of mass events and assemblies, as well as the use of compulsory measures to persons who are not restricted.
In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded the possible delays in traffic due to shelling, lack of sufficient shelters in Uman, lack of sufficient medical staff.
The SSSU, in turn, reported that about 7,000 foreigners, who have already entered Ukraine on Rosh Ha-Shan.
According to the United Jewish Community of Ukraine this year, the celebration of Rosh Ha-Shan falls for the period from the evening of September 22 to September 24.
In 2024, according to the community, 33.5 thousand Bratslav Hasidim came to Uman during the celebration and pilgrimage on the occasion of the Jewish New Year.
About 35,000 pilgrims are expected this year.
