The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has developed a draft law that allows Ukrainians of draft age to register for military service online using electronic identification.

Literally: The relevant project of the law was approved at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

It is planned to allow conscripts to enter the military register and to specify personal data through electronic identification in the “Electronic cabinet of conscripts, conscripts and reservists” service.

In addition, they plan to eliminate registration commissions and cancel medical examinations.

The draft law also stipulates that citizens who obtain higher education will undergo a medical examination before practical classes of basic military training.
