The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and authorized the JCB HMEE high-speed armored backhoe loader for military use. This is one of the most popular excavators of many armies of the world.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informs about this.

JCB HMEE excavator (High Mobility Engineer Excavator) is an armored special vehicle designed to perform a wide range of tasks.

“JCB HMEE excavators have proven themselves well during the performance of special works in difficult conditions and are in service with many advanced armies of the world,” said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.

JCB HMEE weighs about 16 tons. Develops a speed of up to 100 km/h, provides full crew protection, compatible with STANAG standards for damage protection. Its four-wheel drive system, control of all four wheels, locking differentials ensure high performance on off-road. Suspension and brakes specially reinforced for military needs ensure controlled and safe operation.

The cabin of the armored excavator is ergonomically designed for maximum operator productivity, equipped with air conditioning.

The agency reminded that manufacturers and developers of samples of weapons and military equipment who have questions about the codification process can contact the Main Directorate for Life Cycle Support of Weapons and Military Equipment by e-mail: mdalc@mil.ua.

As ArmiyaInform reported, the Ministry of Defense codified and put into operation the domestic armored personnel carrier.
