He stated this in a video message. “The Minister of Justice and the Minister of Energy cannot remain in their positions. This is a question of trust in particular. If there are accusations, they must be answered. The decision to remove them from office is prompt, the fastest. I asked the Prime Minister that there should be statements of resignation from these ministers. I ask the members of the Verkhovna Rada to support these statements,” the head of state said.

And further, according to him, everything should be resolved in the legal sphere.

At the same time, Zelensky added that there will be a decision of the National Security Council regarding sanctions at the request of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“Now it is extremely difficult for everyone in Ukraine. It is extremely difficult to go through a power outage, “Ruskie” shocks, losses. It is absolutely abnormal that there are still some schemes in the energy sector,” the president emphasized.

In addition, Zelensky said that he will sign a decree on the application of sanctions against two people who appear in the NABU case regarding Energoatom.

According to Economic Truth, we are talking about the introduction of sanctions against Timur Mindich and Oleksandr Zukerman.

Operation “Midas”: what you need to knowAs UNIAN reported, NABU and SAP exposed a criminal organization that included high-ranking officials, politicians and businessmen. They created a large-scale corruption scheme to influence JSC NAEK Energoatom. Later, the Bureau made public part of the records related to this case. There are people marked with the following nicknames: “Carlson”, “Professor”, “Tenor” and “Rocket”. Later it became known that the organization of this scheme included businessman Timur Mindich (pseudonym “Carlson”), the Minister of Justice and ex-Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko (pseudonym “Professor”); executive director of physical protection and security of “Energoatom” JSC Dmytro Basov (“Tenor”); former adviser to ex-Minister of Energy Galushchenko Ihor Myronyuk (“Rocket”).

Today, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HCC) ordered Dmytro Basov (pseudonym “Tenor”), a person involved in the case, to be detained for 60 days. A pledge of UAH 40 million has also been determined. The deposit can be made by Basov or another natural or legal person to the VAKS deposit account.
