On the night of November 29, the Ukrainian military struck the Atlas oil depot in Russia’s Rostov region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced.

“As a result of the damage, a fire broke out on the territory of the object, at least two sources of ignition are recorded. It should be noted that in the summer of this year, the specified oil depot was already attacked by the Defense Forces,” the Ukrainian command stated.

According to the General Staff, “Atlas” is part of the Russian military-industrial complex, which ensures the supply of petroleum products for the Russian army.

The Russian service of Radio Liberty reports that it is about an oil depot in the Kamian district, which Ukrainian drones have already attacked three times: the previous attacks were on August 3 and 28.

In addition, the General Staff announced that the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Russian radar station of the Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system in the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.

“The task was carried out by units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces,” the General Staff added.

Previously, acting head of the region Yuriy Slyusar reported that in the Rostov region of Russia, drone debris damaged private houses in the Masalivka hamlet of the Kamian district and in the Dyachkino settlement of the Tarasiv district.

According to him, an industrial facility caught fire in the Kamian district. The locksmith did not specify what exactly caught fire, but in Russian telegram channels it was specified that it was an oil depot.

The invaders did not announce the destruction of the radar of the Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile complex in the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Since the beginning of 2024, Russian refineries have been regularly attacked by Ukrainian drones. At some plants, primary oil processing units failed and required repair. However, already in April, Russia was able to partially restore the capacities of key oil refineries.
