The world’s first racket Simona Halep reported that she feels better and will return to the court earlier than expected.
According to the Romanian, she will fly to Hong Kong on Monday to take part in the WTA 125 tournament, rather than waiting for the WTA 250 tournament, which will be held at the end of October.
“Thank you to the tournament for the wild card, I’m really looking forward to seeing you all,” Simona said in a video message.
Note that after the doping disqualification, Halep played two matches. She has not performed since May due to a knee injury.
