The law regulates the collection, processing and preservation of information about applicants and recipients of social support, as well as users of the system, which will increase the efficiency of social payments and simplify interaction between public authorities.
The unified system will be integrated with numerous state registers, including the State Register of Civil Status, Taxpayers Register, the Register of Military Health, Electronic Health Information System and others, which will automatically check the right of citizens for social services without unnecessary paper procedures.
In addition, the new law establishes clear rules for the protection of personal data, which is confidential information. System administrators are obliged to ensure the integrity of the databases and prevent unauthorized access.
Persons whose data are contained in the system guarantees the right to access free access to information, to correct it, to renew, and to appeal in case of violation of rights.
An important innovation will also be the mechanism of automatic determination of the right to social support based on available data, which will increase the speed and accuracy of assistance.
We will remind, on September 17 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the bill №13266 on the creation of a new position of military Ombudsman. 283 MPs voted for the adoption of the law.
