Ukrainian champion and WBC Ukraine first welterweight title holder (up to 63.5 kg) Yanis Kurylenko (14–1, 8 KOs) will hold his next fight in Spain.

On December 20, a boxing evening will take place in Bilbao, the main event of which will be a match between a Ukrainian and an experienced Spaniard, Sandor Martin (42-4, 15 KOs).

In December of last year, Yanis defeated compatriot Andrii Boryshpolets by split decision and won two titles. In June, the boxer defeated the same opponent by majority decision and retained two belts.

Martin previously claimed the title of world champion, but was defeated – in March of this year he lost to the Dominican Alberto Puelo (SD 12) in a fight for the WBC belt.

The representative of Spain became the author of a loud sensation in 2021, when he unexpectedly stopped and retired the famous American Mike Garcia.
