The American company Sinclair & Wilde accused the National Police of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense of corruption and bribery.
According to the company, Ukrainian officials refused to settle with it for the contract for the supply of military uniforms, demanding a rollback.
As reported by Censor.Net, the company believes that the story published by the National Police of Ukraine is an attempt to hide internal corruption in the authorities, in particular in the Ministry of Defense, which, according to Sinclair & Wilde, did not fulfill its obligation to pay 14.5 million USD after the company fulfilled five contracts for the supply of military uniforms and textiles.
In an open letter, the company says the demand for a bribe was a condition for paying the rest of the money it was supposed to receive. After refusing to pay the bribe, Sinclair & Wilde turned to the law enforcement agencies of the United States and Ukraine. The company also claims that it provided the National Police of Ukraine with confidential information and evidence refuting the allegations against it, but in response, the information was leaked, putting the lives of witnesses at risk.
Sinclair & Wilde also denies allegations of inflated prices for supplied products, stressing that the prices of its goods were lower than market prices, taking into account the costs of delivery and logistics.
Earlier in Kyiv region, law enforcement officers exposed the head of the department of neurology and neurosurgery and the traumatologist of one of the hospitals. Doctors are suspected of falsifying the medical history of men of military age.
And in Lviv, a former family doctor demanded $5,000 from a soldier who had previously been wounded at the front for influencing members of the LKK. The woman assured that otherwise she would not be able to register a disability group.
