Russian troops hit Izmail: three people died, 11 were injured – the authorities

In the early morning of September 27, Russian troops launched a large-scale attack on Izmail in Odesa region, as a result of which three people were killed, 11 more, including a child, were injured, the head of the regional military administration Oleg Kiper said.

“The Russians launched attack drones in the south of our region. The work of the air defense forces was long and intense. Unfortunately, three people died as a result of the attack: two women born in 1934 and 1955 and a 73-year-old man,” Kiper wrote in a telegram.

According to him, private and apartment buildings, outbuildings, buildings, cars were damaged.

“As a result of the attack, several fires broke out, which were promptly extinguished by our firefighters. Law enforcement officials record the consequences of a terrorist act by Russians. People are provided with all the necessary assistance,” added the head of the OVA.

At night, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces informed about the “Shakhed” launched by Russia in the direction of the Odesa region.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
