Many fires broke out in the city due to another shellingRussian invaders on the night of July 19 attacked Odessa, resulting in killed one person. About it reports the SES of Odesa region, which showed the consequences of another Russian shelling in the city.
They said that a fire occurred from 6 to 9 floors of a 9-storey apartment building because of the attack. Rescuers eliminated the fire together with volunteers.
“5 people were rescued from the burning apartments, unfortunately, one rescued woman was killed. Psychologists of the SES and the National Police worked on the spot. Pets were evacuated from the damaged apartments,” the message was added.
In total, 58 rescuers and 16 fire fighting units were involved in the fire elimination.
Russian attack on Odessa – what is knownAs reported by UNIAN, Russia struck a massive drone blow to Odessa. In total, there were more than 20 drones that were fixed above the city. According to monitoring channels, such an attack on Odessa “was not a long time ago”.
Already at 02:00 the mayor of Gennady Trukhanov confirmed the death of one woman as a result of a Russian blow. Also, according to locals, fires were raging in the city, there were damage to residential buildings and there was a heavy smell of burning.
“Despite the active work of our air defense forces, there is damage to civilian infrastructure. In particular, apartment buildings. All authorized services have begun work on eliminating the effects of the attack. Information on the victims is clarified,” – said the head of the Odessa Ova Oleg Kiper.
