According to the OVA, in the evening a Russian drone dropped explosives on a civilian car in the Dnipro district of Kherson – a 58-year-old man and an 82-year-old woman were injured, and two women who were injured due to the Russian shelling of Kherson were taken to the hospital around 5:20 p.m. – at the time of the impact they were in the house.
Local authorities report that Russian forces also struck the village of Veletenske with artillery around 18:30.
“As a result of the shelling, a local resident who was on the street was wounded. The man had a landmine-explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to the chest, abdomen, arms and legs. He is in serious condition,” the message reads.
Yesterday, on September 26, one person was killed and 19 were injured in the Kherson region, reported the head of the OVA Oleksandr Prokudin. According to him, more than 20 settlements, including the regional center of Kherson, were under Russian shelling.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
