According to him, this approach is an example for NATO member states that should study the experience of Ukrainians and introduce similar mechanisms in their armies.
“One of the lessons I have made (from Ukraine – ed.) Is that we have to understand what mechanisms we can implement in all our armed forces to ensure the same pace of innovations that Ukrainians are so successfully demonstrating,” he said.
In his speech, Grinkevich also emphasized the importance of well -established cooperation between the military and the defense industry. According to him, NATO now needs a clear and prompt supply of tools and equipment.
“Promises for the future are already enough. We need to start appearing in the armies, the Air Force and the Navy of the Alliance now,” the General said.
According to Grinkevich, a defense-industrial base must operate a single front on both sides of the Atlantic-in the US and Europe. The general called for the creation of a seamless industrial system capable of providing NATO with everything necessary.
“The work is enough for everyone, and it is a false dilemma that we can only invest in one or the other. There must be a single, seamless industrial base that can provide both capacity and capacity for the Alliance.”
