Lieutenant Colonel Bogdan Krotevich (call sign Tavr) reported that he was not going to go to politics, but plans to stay in the military sector.

In Telegram, Krotevich thanked the Azov unit, the collective and the commander separately, Colonel Denis Prokopenko for the fighting and the challenges that were overcome.

“So many of the best sons and daughters of Ukraine as in Azov, I have not seen anywhere and, confident, will not see. I am one that has been a unit and people who have spent more than ten years. I thank those who were near and at the time when Azov was a battalion and a newly created regiment – it is nice to see you with the skeleton of other most capable units, ”he writes.

Lieutenant Colonel also thanked NSU Commander Alexander Pivnenko for his changes in the National Guard and the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko for the constant support of the brigade, as well as for a huge contribution to the return of Ukrainian soldiers from captivity.

“I do not go to politics, fortunately happiness,” I am not going to go from the military sector, and I will be able to tell more, “he added.

The day before, the brigade reported that Krotevich is completing the service and leaves the position of Chief of Staff of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade of Azov.

Krotevich joined Azov in 2014 and went from the infantryman to the platoon commander.

He participated in key combat operations during the ATO and OOS, and contributed to the development of the unit. In 2021, he headed Azov Staff, and after the start of a full -scale invasion of Mariupol’s defense as an assistant commander.

After his release from captivity in September 2022, Krotevich focused on the restoration of the unit’s combat capability and its expansion to the 12th Azov Brigade. Subsequently, he coordinated the actions of the brigade during the fighting in the Zaporozhye direction during the summer counter -offensive in 2023.
