The BBC Radio 2 DJ is days into her 135-mile Great Northern Marathon Challenge, and is coming to the end of the penultimate day of the challenged.
Live on Radio 2, Trevor Nelson revealed to Sara that the Children In Need Challenge total has now surpassed £3 million, reaching an incredible £3,010,174.
A thrilled Sara said: “AHHH, amazing, amazing. We’ve popped over £3 million! That is incredible, thank you so much.
‘Everybody just giving a fiver or a tenner did it, that is amazing. Thank you so much. Thanks to everybody who has donated, you’re absolutely awesome. Thank you so much.’
Tomorrow marks Sara’s final day of the challenge, and will see the radio star bring Pudsey bear to Pudsey.

Radio host Scott Mills revealed live on air that she has raised an incredible £1,002,869 for charity so far, which sent Sara over the edge.
The presenter thanked listeners for their support, saying through tears: ‘Oh my god. One million two thousand…we’ve done a million! Oh my god. That’s massive, thank you.’
‘You have completely broken me. Everybody who has donated, thank you so much. Oh, gosh. I can’t believe it! That is so generous. Every fiver, every tenner. It all makes a massive difference.’
