French national team striker Kylian Mbappe scored his 400th goal in his career in all competitions in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against the Ukrainian national team.

The Frenchman did it at the age of 26 years, 10 months and 24 days, which made him the youngest author of the 400th goal in the 21st century.
The previous achievement was held by Lionel Messi, who scored his 400th goal at the age of 27 years, 3 months and 3 days.
