In addition, active restoration of power facilities and a large-scale repair campaign to prepare the power system for the autumn-winter period are underway.
“Energy engineers work around the clock to ensure the stability and integrity of the energy system,” the ministry said.
During the past 24 hours, according to the agency’s data, due to enemy shelling and fighting, there were power outages in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.
In the Chernihiv region, as a result of the strikes of the Russian army, 438 household consumers found themselves without electricity.
In Kharkiv Oblast, substations and household consumers, as well as the railway, were de-energized due to hostilities (there were no disruptions in the movement of trains). Power has already been restored.
In the western region, due to technological reasons, the equipment of one of the substations was turned off, household consumers and the substation itself were left without electricity. Power has been restored, but the high-voltage overhead line was also shut down due to the storm.
In the central region, a high-voltage overhead line was shut down due to technological malfunctions, and the power industry restored it to operation there.
In total, during the past 24 hours, it was possible to restore power to 6,917 consumers who were without electricity due to hostilities and technical failures.

Earlier, Minister of Energy German Galushchenko predicted that Ukraine will pass the winter in a normal mode of electricity supply, provided there are no new heavy blows from the Russian Federation on energy.
And the former head of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, in an interview with the European Parliament, stated that power outages are possible in the winter, even if all plans to restore generation facilities are implemented.
