The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to launch a new function in the “Reserve+” application in November, which will allow conscripts to receive a deferral without the need to visit the TCC and submit applications.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko at the IT Arena 2024 technology conference in Lviv, writes Sudovo-yuridychna Gazeta.
“In order to make a postponement, we not only have to make changes to the regulatory framework, but also that our partners (owners of registers from which data are requested) are technologically ready for this,” Chernogorenko said.
From the beginning of November 2024, it is planned to activate three forms of deferments for different categories of citizens: full-time students, parents with many children, and persons with disabilities. Currently, the Ministry of Defense is working on changes in the regulatory framework to harmonize the innovations.
“We want a person who has grounds for a postponement not to write a statement by hand and not go to the TCC, but to be able to signal his right in a few minutes, and for this postponement to be valid,” Chernogorenko added.
The new service will allow citizens who have the right to deferment to submit an application in a few minutes through a mobile application, without the need to contact the TCC.
In October, a recruiting service will be available in the Reserve+ application. With this update, actual vacancies in military units will appear, which will allow users to find the place of their future service more quickly.
