US President-elect Donald Trump has announced that he is nominating former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi for US Attorney General. This happened after Matt Geitz resigned from the position.

Details: In his post, Trump says that “Pam will change the direction of the Department of Justice, returning it to its true purpose of fighting crime and keeping America safe.”

For reference: Pam Bondi has a law degree from Stetson College of Law. Began her career as an assistant prosecutor in Hillsborough County.
