A contender for the title of world champion in super heavy weight Derek Chisora from Great Britain shared his opinion about Oleksandr Usyk’s future after the rematch with Tyson Fury.
“Alexander will do it again, he will beat Tyson. But what next? Usyk does not fight for money, he does not fight to buy a Lamborghini. This guy fights for the Ukrainians, that’s why it’s hard to beat him.
I think Usyk will end his career after the fight with Tyson. And what is the point of continuing? He beat all the heavyweight stars, do we have many boxers like that? Oleksandr will finish boxing. He wants to be with his wife, he wants to help Ukraine in the war,” said Chisora.
Earlier, Turki Al-Sheikh announced that the rematch between WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and ex-WBC champion Tyson Fury will take place on December 21, 2024.
