An employee of “Ukrzaliznytsia” died as a result of a drone attack

The shooter of the paramilitary guard of “Ukrzaliznytsia” was killed as a result of a Russian drone strike while performing his duties. The incident occurred when the employee was on duty at one of the infrastructure facilities located in Ukraine on November 11. writes “RBK-Ukraine”.

According to the head of the UZ Oleksandr Pertsovsky there was an equipped and working shelter at the facility, where the employee used to be, but the next blow overtook him literally two steps from the shelter – the man did not have time to return.

This tragedy was preceded by massive strikes by Russian troops on Ukrzaliznytsia facilities. Several attacks have been reported in recent days, affecting depots as well as energy infrastructure, leading to delays and cancellations of more than 20 train services.

The railway administration promises to study in detail all the circumstances of this incident in order to take measures to prevent similar tragedies in the future. The incident underscores the heightened tensions in the region and the risks associated with the war, which has been going on for several years.
