“On the night of September 28, radio engineering troops of the Air Force detected and escorted 77 means of air attack of the enemy: two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from occupied Crimea; two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the airspace of the TOT of the Zaporizhzhia region; 73 Shahed-type attack UAVs from the Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol – Russian Federation, Cape Chauda – Crimea regions,” the message says.
“As a result of anti-aircraft combat, two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and 69 enemy Shahed UAVs were shot down in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa and Mykolaiv regions. One drone flew in the direction of Russia, three more were lost in location on the territory of Ukraine,” the Air Force added.
At night, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned that Russian troops had launched “Shahedy” over Ukraine from several directions.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
