On the night of Friday, September 27, as a result of a UAV attack, a fire broke out near Novoshakhtinsk in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
This was reported by the Russian Astra Telegram channel.
It is noted that the fire broke out due to the fall of UAV debris near the power line.
As Astra writes, the Novoshakhtynska Nova Sokolyvka microdistrict, a 5-minute drive from which the Novoshakhtynsk Refinery is located, came under attack.
The governor of the Rostov region, Vasyl Golubev, said that the Russian air defense system allegedly shot down seven UAVs.
“In total, 7 UAVs were destroyed near Novoshakhtynsk this night. As a result of falling debris, the grass caught fire in the field. The fire was promptly extinguished by emergency services. There were no casualties or damage on the ground,” he wrote.
