The title of the best player of the championship went to Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay, who had one of the most successful seasons in his career and became a key figure of the team. The Neapolitan club was also named the best in the league, with Antonio Conte receiving the best coach award after his successful tenure with the team.
The symbolic national team of the season included: goalkeeper Mili Svilar (Roma); defenders Denzel Dumfries (Inter), Amir Rahmani (Napoli), Alessandro Bastoni (Inter), Federico Dimarco (Inter); midfielders Scott McTominay (Napoli) and Nicolo Barella (Inter, now Manchester City player); strikers Lautaro Martinez (Inter), Moise Kean (Fiorentina) and Mateo Reteghi (Atalanta, transferred to Al-Qadisia).
