Saturday’s part of the fourteenth round of the Ukrainian Premier League began with a match with the participation of one of the participants in the championship race, and we are gradually getting used to the fact that Cherkasy LNZ is hiding behind this characteristic, and one of the absolute newcomers of the current draw of the “elite” championship, Kudrivka, who can only dream of such high achievements at the moment. So far, Vasyl Baranov’s team is just getting used to this level of football, and it is doing so not without success at the same time.

On the field of the Central Stadium in Cherkasy in the first half, we saw quite a lot of fighting and relatively few scoring opportunities. But they still took place. Moreover, unexpectedly, the guests were the first to create danger. In the 19th minute, Pushkarev transferred a pass from the right wing to the far side on Kozak’s head closer to the goal, and he sent the ball into the goal post.

Vitaly Ponomariov’s team searched for an answer to this for a long time, but in the end it consisted in the fact that it was enough for the opponents to miss one counterattack for Yashari to play Prosper on the right flank of the attack, and he shot from long range into an empty net for Assinor. In fact, the “Hawks” almost made a major mistake that could not be made under any circumstances.

In the second half, Kudrivtsi, accordingly, had to attack to save, and she was not able to do it too successfully. Baranov’s sharp team never created such moments, but they could easily concede one or two more goals in quick counterattacks by their opponents. If only Kravchuk would take advantage of the opportunities that Ponomarev gives him at the end of each match. Or Prosper or Yashari were more successful in other people’s possessions.
