Milan key player Christian Pulisic is at risk of missing the upcoming match against Lazio. This was announced by the coach of the Milan club Massimiliano Allegri during the pre-match press conference.

According to the coach, the winger felt muscle discomfort during a training session in the middle of the week. Although the injury does not appear to be serious, the coaching staff decided to take a cautious approach to avoid making the situation worse in the middle of the season.

“It is unlikely that Pulisic will be available to play. We will assess his condition again, but I don’t want to risk him now so as not to lose him for a longer period of time,” Allegri said.

It’s a big loss for Milan, as Pulisic has been in great form this season, being one of the team’s most productive players in attack.

It is expected that his place in the starting line-up could be taken by Christopher Nkunku or Ruben Loftus-Cheek, depending on the tactical scheme that Allegri chooses for the game against the Romans.
