The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that Ukrainian soldiers successfully used “long Neptunes” on specified targets on the territory of the Russian Federation.

“Last night, our soldiers successfully used “long Neptunes” on designated targets on Russian territory, and this is our completely fair response to the ongoing Russian terror. Ukrainian missiles actually give more tangible and accurate results every month,” he wrote in a telegram.

At the beginning of October, Zelensky stated that Ukraine is already using Neptune and Flamingo missiles in pairs, and there are “tangible results”.

On October 1, the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced a missile attack by Neptune cruise missiles on the Oryol thermal power plant and the Novobryansk electric substation, which supplied power to the military enterprises of the region, so their disabling is a serious blow to the logistics of the Russian Federation.

After the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, combat drones regularly fly into Russian regions, resulting in destruction and casualties. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that the attacks are being carried out from the Ukrainian side.

Kyiv claimed that the strikes on Russia were aimed at military, energy and transport infrastructure, which are key to Moscow’s war effort.

Russian authorities almost never report the full extent of damage caused by Ukrainian strikes.
