Details: The representative of the Vienna Criminal Police Department, Gerhard Winkler, said at a press conference on Tuesday that two suspects, aged 19 and 45, were detained in Ukraine in the case of murder.

He added that during the detention of the two suspects, Ukrainian law enforcement authorities also seized “a significant amount of money in dollars.”
“So, based on the current state of the investigation, we can rule out a political motive,” Winkler added.
According to the representative of the Vienna Criminal Police Department, Ukraine has already applied to Austria with a request to transfer the criminal case.
The investigation began on November 26, when emergency services were called to a burning car in Vienna. A human body was found inside on the back seat.
Analysis of the video footage showed that the victim was with a 19-year-old Ukrainian who was quickly identified and who is studying at the same university in Austria. After that, the suspect, accompanied by a 45-year-old man, entered Ukraine.
In October, a 17-year-old teenager from Somalia was charged with the murder of 17-year-old Ukrainian Vadym Davydenko in Ireland.
Last year, the regional court of Essen, Germany sentenced four teenagers to prison for the murder of two Ukrainian basketball players – Volodymyr Yermakov and Artem Kozachenko.
