Literally: “He will work under the leadership of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to, among other things, properly assess the harmful chemicals that are poisoning our nation’s food and the drugs and biologics that are being given to our nation’s youth so that we can finally end the childhood epidemic chronic diseases”.
Details: During the COVID-19 pandemic, Makari appeared frequently on Fox News and wrote op-eds questioning the appropriateness of lockdowns and wearing masks. He supported the use of vaccines but questioned the utility of boosters, which was against the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
In early 2021, he predicted that by April most of the country would achieve “herd immunity,” which would dramatically reduce the risk of contracting the virus. However, he was wrong.
Macari also criticizes the modern US food industry. “We have poisoned food. We have pesticides. We have ultra-processed food,” he said in an interview on Fox News.
He also called for a ban on cell phones in schools and praised Kennedy for questioning the use of anti-anxiety and obesity drugs in children.
“What he’s really focused on is the concept that we can’t continue to pump drugs into the children of our country,” Macari said of Kennedy.
Prehistory:
- US President-elect Donald Trump has announced that he will give the post of health minister in his administration to Robert Kennedy Jr., who is a staunch anti-vaccinator.
- Long before the COVID-19 pandemic, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., with his anti-vaccine nonprofit group, Protecting Children’s Health, became one of the world’s most powerful promoters of vaccine fear and mistrust.
