In Russian Rostov-on-Don, the Southern District Military Court found a resident of the annexed Simferopol Olga Kolkov to be guilty of “State Trease”, as well as “undergoing training for the purpose of terrorist activity” and “Preparation of the terrorist attack”, the Russian media reported with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office.

The woman was sentenced to 15 years in a colony of the general regime and suggested her additional punishment in the form of one year and six months of restraint of liberty.

According to the investigation, in 2023 Kolkova began to communicate with an employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, “wishing to assist in activities against Russia.” He allegedly taught her to make homemade manual ignition grenades, through which she intended to set fire to Simferopol a car with the symbols of support of Russian authorities and the army.

At the end of 2024, the human rights project “First Division” estimated that in Russia, after the start of a full -scale invasion of Ukraine, 792 people became involved in criminal cases about state -owned, espionage and confidential cooperation with a foreign state. Human rights activists believe that many cases have been related to the provocations of the FSB, and their victims are users of social networks who are in anti -war and opposition groups.
