The message of the Office of the Prosecutor General does not indicate the name of the deputy, but it is clear from the context that it is about Artem Dmytruk.

The day before, Artem Dmytruk, who, according to law enforcement officers, illegally left Ukraine, announced his detention in London and the court hearing regarding his extradition.
According to the media, on August 24, the deputy illegally left for Moldova. The Prosecutor General’s Office has appealed to a number of countries with a request for the detention, arrest and subsequent extradition of People’s Deputy Artem Dmytrouk to Ukraine.
On August 29, the State Bureau of Investigation declared the deputy internationally wanted. On August 25, Dmytruk was informed of the suspicion of assaulting a law enforcement officer while performing official duties.

The bureau recalled that, according to its data, during his stay in Odesa, the suspect, together with accomplices, attacked a law enforcement officer while performing official duties. Dmytruk himself stated that the case against him was falsified, and that he was allegedly going to be killed or imprisoned in order to deprive him of the opportunity to continue his political activities. He opposes the ban on the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine.
Dmytrouk was expelled from the Servant of the People faction in November 2021. The deputy is known for several scandals. He opposed the ban on the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine. In January 2022, Dmytruk staged a fight in the Odesa City Council in order to enter the meeting hall.
