The court removed from the work of the deputy chairman of the KSCA Petro Olenich, whom SAP suspects in corruption

The deputy chairman of the KSCA, who was informed of suspicion of abuse of office, was removed from work for two months. This was reported on February 26 by the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. According to the media, it is about Peter Olenich.

“On February 26, 2025, the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court granted the petition of the SAP and NABU to remove the post of deputy chairman of the KSCA,” the post reads.

Olenich and nine people were reported to the creation of a criminal organization that took possession of land in the center of Kiev worth UAH 11.6 million.

On February 6, NABU and SAP reported that they conducted an operation “Clean City” on the facts of probable corruption in the city authorities of Kiev.

According to the investigation, one of the key areas of activity of this organization was the seizure of valuable metropolitan land under the construction and taking under the full control of the procedure of decision -made decisions on land rights.

Among the suspects of NABU calls:

• The excellence of the CMR, which law enforcement officers consider the head of a criminal organization
• Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration
• the chairman and member of the Permanent Commission of the CMR on Architecture, Mistoplancy and Land Relations – the current deputies of the Kyiv City Council
• the first deputy and deputy director of utility companies
• Four more people
• In total, 10 people were told about suspicion, seven was detained.

NABU clarifies that the scheme was to search for promising land plots and registration for controlled persons of ownership of structures that were not in these areas. Then, the Kyiv City Council applied for giving them ownership of land for servicing these structures, which allowed to avoid trading. The adoption of the relevant decisions was provided by deputies of the Kyiv City Council and officials of the KSCA.

“At the same time, such decisions were under the full control of the participants of the criminal organization: the” needed “persons were granted the rights to the land, and the rest faced artificial obstacles and had to contact the participants of the criminal organization for help,” the statement reads.

According to the agency, the criminal organization, during 2023-2024, withdrew from the property of the territorial community of Kiev land in the city center worth UAH 11.6 million.

Earlier, Economic Pravda, with reference to the source, reported that NABU was searched by the ex-deductor, the leader of the Leonid Chernovetsky Bloc faction in the Kyiv Council in 2008-2010, businessman Denis Komarnitsky and not only with him.

On February 7, the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court chose precautionary measures to suspect in land corruption to capital officials. In particular, the deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Olenaich, the court sent into custody for two months – until April 6, with the possibility of making 15 million hryvnias of collateral.

Denis Komarnitsky and Petro Olenich did not publicly comment on this information.
