During the meeting, Plahuta noted that the command of the TrO Forces is making every effort to find servicemen who have lost contact with them while performing combat missions and whose fate is currently unknown.
“Your pain is also my pain, it cannot be expressed in words. And for me now it is a matter of honor to help find your relatives and continue to support you,” the commander noted.
For more than two hours, Plahuta, together with the officers of the command and other divisions of the Military Forces, representatives of the General Staff and the Coordination Staff for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, answered numerous questions of the relatives of military personnel of the Military Forces who are missing in action.
At the request of the participants of the meeting, the commander and officers provided comprehensive information about the processes of searching for and identifying servicemen in enemy captivity, work algorithms for the liberation of Ukrainians from Russian captivity, and Ukraine’s active work to return home all captured soldiers of the TrO Forces, and reported on the measures taken since the last meeting.

As reported by Ukrinform, 3,672 Ukrainians were returned from Russian captivity since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
