The company “Prykarpattiaoblenergo” reported that the center of Ivano-Frankivsk was left without electricity due to the impact.
“As a result of the night attack of Russian drones in the Ivano-Frankivsk community, damage to electrical networks was recorded. Because of this, the central part of Ivano-Frankivsk is currently without power: Nezalezhnosti, Konovaltsi, Sichovy Striltsy, Stepan Bandera streets and part of the adjacent streets. Energy teams have already left to eliminate the damage, but it will take time to restore the power supply,” the message says.
During the night and morning of September 26, most regions of Ukraine were attacked from the air using Russian Shahed drones.
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that on the night of September 26, Russian troops launched 78 Shahed attack UAVs over Ukraine, 66 of them were shot down, another eight UAVs were lost in location in several regions of Ukraine, one returned to Russia, and another remained in the airspace of Ukraine.
