According to his data, an 83-year-old man died in the village of Zmiivka in the Berislav district of the Kherson region as a result of yesterday’s shelling.
The head of the OVA reported that 19 people, including two children, were wounded in the previous day due to Russian shelling of more than 20 settlements in the Kherson region.
“The Russian military targeted critical infrastructure facilities, an administrative building, educational institutions and a store; residential quarters of settlements in the region, including two high-rise buildings and 63 private houses. The occupiers also damaged farm buildings, agricultural machinery and private cars,” said Prokudin.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
