Russia has begun installing Starlink satellite communications from SpaceX on Shahed-136 attack drones, the Defense Express portal reports.

Details: Starlink was spotted on one of the drones shot down by the Defense Forces during a Russian attack on the night of September 25.
The portal publishes photos showing a satellite dish with a serial number. With its help, they will try to investigate the supply channels of the Starlink terminal.
By equipping “Shakhedi” with satellite communication, Russia will receive a wide and powerful feedback channel with the drone, the possibility of transmitting information from it, and will be able to change the flight task at any distance.
The portal emphasizes that in this way Shahed turns primarily into an intelligence tool.
That is, thanks to Starlink, the Russians can use “Shahed” as an extremely long-range barrage munition with the possibility of reconnaissance due to an additional camera and with the possibility of hitting even moving targets.
It is noted that “Shakhed” could be chosen for these purposes due to their flight range (about 2,000 km) and a fairly significant free volume in the middle of the fuselage.
Defense Express reminds that although Starlink does not work and is not sold in Russia, the Russians purchase it through third countries.
