On July 21, the SBU announced the detention of NABU employee, who, according to the department, was spying for the Russian special service. He was presented with suspicion. Instead, NABU stated that information from the SBU management regarding the possible risks related to one of the employees of the Bureau was received in August 2023, but later informed the SBU that there was no evidence about this employee of the bureau.
