“We remember the millions of human lives that Ukraine lost as a result of the Holodomor and massive artificial famines. This year, for the third time, we will honor the victims of the communist genocide in the conditions of Russia’s full-scale genocidal war against Ukraine. The tragic events we are experiencing testify that living memory is extremely important ; those who commit crimes against humanity must be condemned by the world community, and the victims – with dignity honored”, – noted in the UINP.
“4:00 p.m.: a nationwide moment of silence and the “Light a candle” action,” the UINP said.
The Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, together with the National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide, will hold a commemoration of those killed by hunger by the communist totalitarian regime.
As reported, the public will have the opportunity to visit the National Museum “Memorial to the Victims of the Holodomor”. There will be a prayer service with the participation of the clergy of the OCU and UGCC near the museum. There will be an opportunity to join the “Warm collection” volunteer campaign.
