According to UP sources, it is about LLC “B.MC.Ukraine”.
The police report that one of the accused was detained in the procedural order and placed in a temporary detention center. According to the UP source, this is Roman Balykin.
According to the investigation, during 2024, the director of the company, together with the commercial director, ensured the victory of the controlled company in defense procurement. This happened due to the manipulation of market prices, imitation of competition and systematic overestimation of the cost of spare parts for military equipment, in particular the armored vehicles “Kirpi”, which are actively used at the front.
It was established that the director of the company organized the preparation of documents, communication with the military unit, and the distribution of funds, while the commercial director created invoices and other documents with notoriously inflated prices.
In order to appear to be the “cheapest” supplier, the head of the company sent standard requests to related companies, controlling them to submit commercial offers with deliberately inflated costs.
According to the conclusions of the examination, the amount of funds illegally obtained by the company exceeded 15 million hryvnias for only two contracts.
On November 27, the police conducted 39 searches in Kyiv, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Sumy, Zhytomyr regions and in the city of Kyiv. Documents and media that are evidence in criminal proceedings were seized.
Documents and electronic media of evidentiary value were seized during authorized searches of the suspect’s residence.
