In Kramatorsk, the death toll from the Russian strike has risen to two – the authorities

In Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, the number of people killed as a result of an attack by Russian forces on the evening of December 1 has increased to two, the head of the city’s military administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko, said.

“The number of people killed in Kramatorsk as a result of a Russian attack on a high-rise building on December 1 increased to two: rescuers unblocked a woman’s body from under the rubble,” he reported on social networks.

Earlier, Goncharenko noted that on the afternoon and evening of December 1, the Russian military released about ten Geran drones over Kramatorsk, “targeting residential buildings and infrastructure objects.”

As a result of the strikes, in addition to the two dead, five people were injured. According to the MBA, apartment buildings and private houses, cars were damaged.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

According to the latest UN data, in Ukraine in 2025, the number of civilian deaths from long-range weapons increased by 26%, and the number of wounded – by 75%.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
