Hospitalist Irina Tsybukh received the title of Hero of Ukraine posthumously – Decree

Irina Tsybukh, a volunteer battalion of Hospitalers, Irina Tsybukh, was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. The corresponding decree was published on the President’s website on February 26.

“For personal courage and heroism, discovered in the protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless service to the Ukrainian people, make a assignment of the title of Hero of Ukraine with awarding the Order of the Golden Star, Tsybukh Irina Vladimirovna – a public figure, a head of the scapher. Irina Tsybukh was killed during a rotation in the Kharkiv direction on May 29, 2024, a few days before her 26th anniversary.

Irina Tsybukh was born in Lviv on June 1, 1998. She studied at the University of Lviv Polytechnic. She has served in the medical battalion “Hospitaliers” and has left several rotations on the front line since 2014.

In 2017, she started working on “public” television. The full -scale war with Russia found it in the eastern regions of Ukraine, where Irina Tsybukh presented a documentary.

Subsequently, Irina Tsybukh returned to the Hospitalers Volunteer Battalion.

In the fall of 2023, Irina Tsybukh was awarded the presidential honors – the Order of Merit 3.
