General Staff: there were 217 skirmishes at the front during the day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the morning of November 12 that 217 combat clashes were recorded at the front during the past 24 hours, most of them in the Pokrovsky direction.

“In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 76 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Nikanorivka, Chervyn Liman, Myrnograd, Rodynske, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and Novomykolaivka,” the message reads.

According to the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defense Forces repelled 23 Russian attacks in the Oleksandrivskyi direction, 18 in the Kupyanskyi direction, 16 in the Kostiantynivskyi direction, and 17 skirmishes were in the South-Slobozhanskyi direction.

In addition, as reported in the General Staff, the combat operations of the past day continued in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, in the Lymansk, Slovyansk, Gulyaipilsk, and Orichivsk directions.

On November 11, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that the Russian invaders remain the most active in the Pokrovsky direction, about 40% of the battles that day fell on it.

The Russian army has also increased activity in the Zaporizhzhia region, using thick fog to infiltrate between Ukrainian positions. According to Syrskyi, the situation in Oleksandrivsk and Gulyaipilsk directions has worsened, “exhausting battles for Rivnopillia and Yablukovo” continue.
