Combined strike of the Russian Federation on December 7: anti-aircraft defense neutralized 4 ballistic missiles and 175 drones

On the night of December 7, the Russian invaders launched a combined attack on the objects of critical infrastructure of Ukraine using attack UAVs, air and ground-based missiles.

Details: In total, the radio-technical forces of the Air Force detected and escorted 246 air attack vehicles – 5 ballistic missiles and 241 UAVs of various types. Among them:

• 241 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type (unmanned aerial vehicles of other types, about 150 of them are Shaheds);
• 3 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles;
• 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., 179 air targets were shot down and suppressed by anti-aircraft defense:

• 175 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber type (unmanned aerial vehicles of other types);
• 2 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles;
• 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.

65 strike UAVs were hit at 14 locations.

The air attack was repulsed by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, units of EW and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The attack continues, several enemy UAVs are in the airspace.
