On Saturday, September 28, as a result of Russian shelling, a fire broke out in the Peter and Paul Church in the village of Petropavlivka, Kharkiv region.
This was reported in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, publishing a video showing that as a result of the shelling, a fire was caused in the church itself, as well as in the premises located near the church. As a result of the attack, the facades of the buildings and the temple area were mutilated.
Russia’s attack on Ukraine on the night of September 28
In the evening of September 27, the Russian occupiers launched several groups of Shahed towards Ukraine. An air alert was declared in a number of regions. It was reported, in particular, about the explosion in the Dnipro and the work of air defense in the Kyiv region and in the capital.
According to the Air Force, the Russian army launched 73 Shaheds, two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles. Two CARs and 69 Shaheds were destroyed by air defense forces.
In Sumy, the Russians attacked a health care facility and residential buildings. As a result of the attack, at least seven people were killed, and another 12 were seriously injured.
